Makomo was a young girl of a short stature with pale skin, who possessed gentle eyes of a deep cyan color, their pupils rectangular and white, that were a notably paler turquoise near the bottom. She had black hair that came down to her shoulders, spiking outwards at the ends, and short micro bangs over her forehead. Completely opposing to Sabito's aggressive personality, Makomo was a girl of quiet, patient and kind nature. She was always helping Tanjiro Kamado by pointing out any mistakes in his technique and correcting any bad habits he had unconsciously developed during his training under Sakonji. Makomo's pet phrase is that she loves Sakonji very much.
Giyu is known in the anime community as the “Depression King” for his reserved personality and serious but emotionless facial expressions. Although he’s not a bad guy or rude towards anyone, none of the Hashiras like his company still Giyu stays true to his introverted nature. Some part of his social incompetency comes from his emotional past as well. However, keeping his personality aside, Giyu is a very competent and skilled swordsman, and his Hashira status is a testament to his genius swordsmanship. Being a Water Hashira, he is capable of unleashing the eleventh form “Dead Calm” which is one of the most powerful attacks in the series. Even Upper-Rank Three, Akaza noted his extraordinary techniques and acknowledged him as one of the greatest Water Hashira he ever fought.
Douma made his first appearance at the end of Demon Slayer Season 2 and the mere glance of his was more than enough to tell about his female fetish. As the Upper-Rank Two, he clearly is the third strongest demon out there right behind Kokushibo and Muzan. Although there is only a difference of one rank between him and Akaza, his power level is exponentially greater as such his martial arts skill surpasses Akaza’s bare-fisted combat prowess Douma’s Blood Demon Art, Cryokinesis, allows him to unleash a range of potent ice-based techniques for both offense and defense. Additionally, the ice created from his Blood Demon Art is extremely lethal to those that inhale it, causing the cells of the victim’s lungs to die and rendering them unable to breathe very quickly. Douma wields this technique with near-perfect accuracy without getting tired in the battle.
Tanjiro Kamado (竈門かまど 炭たん治じ郎ろう Kamado Tanjirō) is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, who joined to find a remedy to turn his sister, Nezuko Kamado, back into a human and to hunt down and kill demons, and later swore to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, the King of Demons, in order to prevent others from suffering the same fate as him.
Nezuko Kamado (竈門かまど 禰ね豆ず子こ Kamado Nezuko?) is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon and the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Formerly a human, she was attacked and transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji.
Yahaba (矢や琶は羽ば Yahaba?), along with Susamaru, was one of the main antagonists of the Asakusa Arc. He was a demon who aspired to join Muzan Kibutsuji's Twelve Kizuki.
Kiriya Ubuyashiki (産うぶ屋や敷しき 輝き利り哉や), the middle child and only son of five children, was born to Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Amane Ubuyashiki.After his father's passing, he leads the Demon Slayer Corps as the 98th and final leader and organizes himself to command them on their attack against Muzan Kibutsuji and his Twelve Kizuki.Kiriya has extremely good memory, a high,almost prophetic intuition.Over a century after Muzan's defeat,Kiriya is still alive and the oldest living person in Japan.
Inosuke Hashibira (嘴はし平びら 伊い之の助すけ Hashibira Inosuke) is one of the main protagonists of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and along with Zenitsu Agatsuma, a traveling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Hinaki Ubuyashiki (産うぶ屋や敷しき ひなき Ubuyashiki Hinaki?) is the oldest daughter of Kagaya Ubuyashiki.Similar to the rest of her family, Hinaki had pale skin and large, purple eyes. She had white, shoulder-length hair styled into a blunt bob with bangs and sported a red ribbon on the right side of her head.Hinaki was usually seen wearing a dark blue Hōmongi kimono decorated with purple flowers along with a maroon obi and a pink obiage and juban under everything, nearly identical to her twin sister with her sister Nichika.
Tamayo (珠たま世よ Tamayo?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon, a skilled doctor, and close ally of Tanjiro Kamado and his younger sister. During the Infinity Castle Arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc, Tamayo, along with Yushiro, joins forces with the Demon Slayer Corps to develop a drug that would aid in the defeat of Muzan Kibutsuji.
Sanemi Shinazugawa (不死しなず川がわ 実さね弥み Shinazugawa Sanemi) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Wind Hashira (風かぜ柱ばしら Kaze Bashira) Sanemi is also the older brother of Genya Shinazugawa, a Demon Slayer who fought alongside Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. Before becoming a Hashira, Sanemi, along with his partner Masachika Kumeno, defeated the former Lower Rank One, Ubume, with Masachika dying as a result.
Muzan Kibutsuji (鬼き舞ぶ辻つじ 無む惨ざん Kibutsuji Muzan?) is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the Demon King, the first of his kind, as well as the progenitor of all other demons in existence. [8] Muzan is also the leader of the Twelve Kizuki, an organization of the twelve strongest demons in existence that serve directly under him
Gyomei Himejima (悲ひ鳴め嶼じま 行ぎょう冥めい Himejima Gyōmei?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Stone Hashira (岩いわ柱ばしら Iwa Bashira?). Gyomei also serves as the mentor of Genya Shinazugawa.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki (産うぶ屋や敷しき 耀かが哉や Ubuyashiki Kagaya?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps[2] known mainly as Oyakata-sama (お館やかた様さま? lit. "Master") by his subordinates and peers and is also the head of the Ubuyashiki Family.
Shinobu Kocho (胡こ蝶ちょう しのぶ Kochō Shinobu) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Insect Hashira (蟲むし柱ばしら Mushi Bashira). Shinobu Kocho is also the younger sister of Kanae Kocho along with her adoptive younger sister Kanao Tsuyuri. After a demon killed her parents, Shinobu joined the Demon Slayer Corps along with her sister in order to protect others from suffering the same fate as her.
Tengen Uzui (宇う髄ずい 天てん元げん Uzui Tengen) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and a major character in the Entertainment District Arc. He was a former member of the Demon Slayer Corps, standing as the previous Sound Hashira (音おと柱ばしら Oto Bashira).
Sakonji Urokodaki (鱗うろこ滝だき 左さ近こん次じ Urokodaki Sakonji?) is a retired member of the Demon Slayer Corps, having held the position of the previous Water Hashira (水みず柱ばしら Mizu Bashira?). He is the main cultivator of the Water Breathing, having trained Giyu Tomioka, Tanjiro Kamado, Sabito and Makomo.
The Spider Demon (Father) (蜘く蛛も鬼おに「父ちち」 Kumo oni: Chichi?)[1] was a member of the Spider Family. Father was animalistic, aggressive and extremely bloodthirsty. He was shown to be very devoted to his "family", as when he battled Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira, he repeatedly told them to stay away from his family while attempting to kill the duo. He served as the main protector and was seen being on the lookout for the Demon Slayers when they came to Mount Natagumo.
The Spider Demon (Mother) (蜘く蛛も鬼おに「母はは」 Kumo oni: Haha?) was a member of the Spider Family. Like most demons, Mother was cruel, unfeeling, and murderous towards humans. She ruthless controlled dozens of Demon Slayers through her threads and manipulated them into killing each other. She was also rather sadistic and callous, uncaring that her manipulation brought them prolonged suffering
The Spider Demon (Son) (蜘く蛛も鬼おに「兄あに」 Kumo oni: Ani?) was a member of the Spider Family. Son was shown to be sadistic and cruel, as seen in the flashbacks of Mother's memories when he openly taunted and enjoyed the physical and verbal abuse she was being put through by Rui and Father, while addressing them formally as his parents, showing that he sadistically enjoyed playing the part of being in a "family". Similarly to Father, he was extremely loyal to Rui's cause and played his role as an elder brother in his family without question.
The Spider Demon (Daughter) (蜘く蛛も鬼おに「姉あね」 Kumo oni: Ane?)[1] was a member of the Spider Family. Daughter is shown to be the most cautious within her "family," having instead opted to observe and stand back rather than jump right into the battle against Demon Slayers. She is also shown to be very cowardly, both with battling against the Demon Slayer Corps and dealing with her family's internal conflict. When her "mother" was being violently abused and reprimanded by Rui and her "father," she stood back and gave her her the same severe glare due to her weakness instead of helping her
Kyojuro Rengoku (煉れん獄ごく 杏きょう寿じゅ郎ろう Rengoku Kyōjurō) was an enthusiastic hashira who came across as cheerfully eccentric. He was a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the late Flame Hashira (炎えん柱ばしら En Bashira). He was pure of heart and excellent in swordsmanship. His fight with Akaza the Upper Third demon is one that is relished by Anime Fans all over.
Zenitsu comes off as a coward, as he often claims that he doesn't have long to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He also has rather low self-esteem despite his strength, even considering himself useless as seen when he couldn't believe he had slain a demon and tricked himself into instead believing that it was Shoichi
Murata (村むら田た Murata?) is a supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Genya Shinazugawa (不死川 玄弥) is a major character in the 2016-2020 fantasy horror manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and its 2019 anime television series adaption.He is voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Zeno Robinson in the English version of the anime.
Kanao Tsuyuri (栗つ花ゆ落り カナヲ Tsuyuri Kanao?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu Kocho's Tsuguko and the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho.
Slasher (切きり裂さき Kirisaki?) was the nickname given to a demon that appeared during the investigation of the Mugen Train and was responsible for a number of human attacks. He was defeated by Kyojuro Rengoku.
Suma (須す磨ま Suma?) is a supporting charater of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a kunoichi and one of Tengen Uzui's wives.
Ozaki is a low-ranking Demon Slayer, it's assumed that Ozaki possessed the capability to swiftly deal with the weaker Demons.
Yoriichi Tsugikuni (継つぎ国くに 縁より壱いち Tsugikuni Yoriichi?) is a major supporting character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a legendary Demon Slayer who lived nearly 500 years ago during the Sengoku Era (the Golden Age of Demon Slayers),[2] as well as the strongest Demon Slayer to have ever existed. He is also the inventor of Breathing Styles, being the one who created the first ever Breathing Style that would eventually become the Hinokami Kagura used by Tanjiro Kamado and members of the Kamado Family. Yoriichi is the younger twin brother of Michikatsu Tsugikuni,[3] who later became a demon and joined the Twelve Kizuki.[4]
Sabito was a minor character of the fantasy horror anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Sabito was a former apprentice of Sakonji Urokodaki, training alongside fellow orphan and close friend Makomo. The two orphans met their unfortunate demise at the the hands of the heavily mutated Hand Demon before they could pass the Final Selection and officially become a Demon Slayer. He mysteriously manifested after his death to assist Tanjiro Kamado in his preparations for the Final Selection exam, and never appeared again. He is voiced by Yūki Kaji in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Max Mittelman in the English version of the anime.
Yushiro (愈ゆ史し郎ろう Yushirō?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is the traveling companion of Tamayo and a close ally of Tanjiro Kamado. Yushiro was turned into a demon by Tamayo when he had a terminal illness. During the Infinity Castle Arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc, Yushiro, along with Tamayo, joins forces with the Demon Slayer Corps to aid in the war against Muzan Kibutsuji.
Rui is the main antagonist of Natagumo Mountain Arc. He is a strong, powerful man who can cohere and conquer demons on the mountain because he has a lot of Muzan’s blood. He also has increased strength and endurance. Rui, like the Demon King can give spider-related abilities to another demon and strengthen them with his blood. Rui can also change a demon’s appearance. He uses threads to defend and attack, which is his main combat. He can increase the strength and durability of the threads, which can even break Nichirin Blades.
Obanai Iguro (伊黒小芭内) is a supporting character in the manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, as well as its anime adaption.Obanai was a Demon Slayer and the Serpent Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, standing amongst the mighty Hashira. He is voiced by Keichi Suzumura in the Japanese version of anime, and by Erik Scott Krimerer in the English version of anime.
